A Story for Our Times Part2- 'ARE YOU PROUD AMERICA?'
Roadkill Looks2Kill4
Now who could forget the snot ball that is Robert Kennedy jnr! Kennedy appears before us as a misanthropic character from a horror movie, whose belief system clearly suffers from some type of gene disorder; in this condition, he simply believes that truth and reality are what he believes them to be. For him, scientific discovery is a smokescreen for fooling the public and for whom any development beyond leeches and bleeding is designed to do harm. There is no doubt, he is an obvious choice to be Health Secretary and his scientific credentials continue to astound as, for him, global warming is a misnomer. The world is simply warming up nicely and the potential lack of food and habitat will only increase the opportunity for increased roadkill.
As private Doss said in Hacksaw Ridge “Just one more Lord”, and here he is – Peter Hegseth nominated as Defense Secretary.
His qualifications for the role include a stint in the army – good- and hero worship of John McClane from the Die Hard movies and being a weekend presenter on Fox and Friends – not good. He also has been investigated for sexual misconduct and is of the view that bombing is too good for some people/countries.
Who said diplomacy is dead. We are safe in his hands!
I could go on, but disillusionment follows my every word. Suffice to say this rogues gallery represents those for whom acknowledgment of the other is negligible and for whom their raison d’etre is their desire for self gratification.
So we are encumbered with these parasitic slime balls whose chracteristics read like a psychopathology lexicon; neurotic, psychotic, misogynistic, racist, narcissitic. More than this the worry for the future, is the credulity of people who put their faith in this slimy snot ridden bunch. Unlike the protagonists in Waiting for Godot, these people actually believe Godot has arrived and with him will follow the realisation of all their hopes and dreams.
Democracy, the price we pay. Is it worth it?
When I began writing this, I wanted everything to rhyme,
But in the end , I neither had the inclinination or the time,
Words are a plethora,
So let me just say,
ARE YOU PROUD AMERICA?
If only...
